Luxfer MEL Technologies

At Luxfer MEL Technologies, our apprentices are an important part of our team. Our apprenticeship programmes provide the opportunity to gain practical experience, develop valuable skills, and work towards a recognised qualification while contributing to our business.

What we look for

We offer apprenticeship opportunities across Production and Engineering, as well as degree apprenticeship programmes.

For Production and Engineering apprenticeships, applicants are required to have at least five GCSEs, including a minimum Grade 4/C in Math’s, English and Science.

For degree apprenticeship programmes, applicants are required to have a minimum of 112 predicted UCAS points, including an A at A-level or a Distinction at BTEC in Chemistry, alongside a minimum Grade C/Merit in Math’s. Applicants must also meet the entry requirements set by the relevant training provider.

We are looking for people who are enthusiastic about learning, willing to develop their skills, and ready to work as part of a team.

The application process

Apprenticeship recruitment typically takes place during February and March.

Following the application stage, shortlisted candidates may be invited to an assessment day. Assessment days can begin as early as April and continue to July.

Successful candidates will then join Luxfer MEL Technologies and begin their apprenticeship in September.
