Lightweight magnesium alloys.
These lightweight alloys are used as a base material from which to machine components to custom shapes to integrate directly into a component.
We operate two dedicated presses to supply a range of extruded magnesium alloys and to develop new alloys for future applications.
Our regulatory and export control department are dedicated in ensuring compliance with various laws and regulations.
Key Features
Magnesium alloys have excellent vibration damping properties.
Modern alloys have positive corrosion resistance. For more severe environments there are a range of surface passivation and top coat treatments commercially available.
Extruded Magnesium alloys have comparable properties with other structural metals – with the added advantage of superior performance at elevated temperatures.
